This project started back in January 2021. Plan was to build a elevator shaft for the hotel. The one it has wasn’t working due to not service when hotel was closed. Because of interior design and changing lobby location, there was one elevator shaft on the outside needed.
The beginning proces of making it all happen
Because of where the shaft is located, we should have come up with a solution that keeps the foundation watertight
You can see the picture above the process, lubrication of bitumen adhesive before applying bitumen.
After this, the hole is filled back with soil and we stamp it just like a slab foundation. Plateau is poured into a complete piece.

Each floor is converted the same. Usually after the first one, the rest gets easier. Not in this case, it becomes heavier and scarier
